Odakle Cornhole potječe?
Prije svega, pokrit ćemo podrijetlo Cornholea. Cornhole potječe iz Amerike, gdje se još naziva i igra u vrećama s grahomili igra bacanja vreće. Nitko ne zna točno kako je nastao Cornhole, ali vjerojatno dolazi iz igre Quoits i Bean-bag Bull's-Eye. I u tim starim američkim igrama cilj je bio bacanje 'vreća' u rupu, ali izgledala je malo drugačije od današnjeg Cornholea kakvog danas poznajemo. U Chicagu i okolici Cornhole se zvao/naziva bags. Kukuružnjak se proširio u Chicagu, Illinoisu i sjeverozapadnoj regiji Indiane kasnih 1970-ih i ranih 1980-ih. Nakon čega je brzo stekao popularnost diljem Amerike. Danas se igra u cijeloj Americi i postoji nacionalna liga koja se zove The American Cornhole League. Ludilo za Cornholeom sada se širi i Europom i zato je Wicked Wood Games počeo nuditi Cornhole proizvode.
Svrha Cornholea
Očito je da je svrha Cornholea zajednička zabava, ali to je također vrlo natjecateljska igra. Cornhole je igra na travnjaku u kojoj igrači naizmjence bacaju vrećice na ploču Cornhole. Jedan džep na ploči znači 1 bod, a ako ubacite džep u rupu, osvajate 3 boda. Pobjeđuje onaj tko prvi postigne 21 bod. Cornhole je igra s određenim svojstvima. Igra je natjecateljskog, sportski i igra se u timovima. Igra je stoga povezujuća i jednostavno je vrlo zabavna i zarazna za igranje! Cornhole se može igrati iu zatvorenom i na otvorenom, a budući da je Cornhole toliko dostupan, pogodan je za sve uzraste.
