VBGB

It all took place at VBGB. A bar in Charlotte, North Carolina, with ample outdoor space for playing all kinds of games. Here it was that I competed with my wife against friends of ours who were visiting from the Netherlands. What started as a joke ended three hours later in a blood-curdling climax. VBGB is known for having more than 30 beers on tap, we probably tried them all. After my wife's winning throw, the victory was celebrated exuberantly in the nearby karaoke bar.

Addictive

This is where we got hooked on cornhole. On the one hand, an innocent game that everyone can participate in. On the other hand, also something in which you can be very competitive and lose yourself completely. This was also the case that evening. Explaining why it is such a great game remains difficult. The only way to really find out is to play it.

Realm

We immediately knew that we had to do something with cornhole as soon as we got back to the Netherlands. That is why we started Wicked Wood Games. We want to inspire as many people as possible and create the atmosphere that we ourselves felt. Being outside, with friends, competitive but also fun. That's what we think cornhole stands for. That is why we will do everything we can to get people to play cornhole.
