Yes, these boards are made entirely of wood. Keep that in mind when ordering your Cornhole set.
The thicker the plate, the better the board stays in place when playing Cornhole. A thicker plate also makes less noise while playing. So keep this in mind when ordering. Also consider the surface you'll be playing on. For example, if you're playing on grass, the board will slide less, but on a hard surface, it will slide considerably more.
REC boards generally have a 10mm plate on the top. They also have a box design with square corners. Wicked Wood also offers a 12mm REC version. This one not only has a 12mm top but also beautifully rounded corners. The COMP boards always have a 15mm top plate and are made of even higher-quality Baltic birch. Thanks to their perfect finish, these boards are suitable for almost all ACL tournaments. Finally, the ELITE boards are the best boards available in Europe.
